Sutra 1.35 – Gurave

To thine own self be true

Inhabit your body fully, that you might more easily inhabit your self fully.

As we bring our attention to the body, our chance for freedom increases. As we bring our attention to our self, our chance for freedom increases.

We experiment with our focus to understand how best to find it, so we may apply it where needed.

To cultivate an ability to concentrate on one thing provides us with the experience of letting go of the peripheral.

Anything that brings us to a place of concentration is an aid to the practice.
